Slow & steady wins the race,
say all the tortoises of the world.
I find it funny & strangely perfect
that I was born in the year of the rabbit.
Hoppin' around,
        feelin' it out,
curious & fidgety,
        fuckin' like one,
not thinking ahead,
getting beaten by deadlines
& stupid things,
        losing track of time,
sleeping through responsibilities,
        living in a fantasy world,
but awww it's so silly & cute!
